Our kind of alphabet posters

Our kind of alphabet posters

The good people at Dorothy have designed a lovely pair of alphabet posters based on … wait for it … the first letters of 26 band logos.

Well metal: know your Queen from your UFO? Snap up Dorothy’s ‘Alphabet of Rock’.

Long haired, leather jacketed types will no doubt lean towards ‘Alphabet of Rock’ (above), while more sensitive spiky tops will be drawn to ‘Alphabet of Alternative Music’ (below).

Indy indeed: ‘Alphabet of Alternative Music’ is available for just £30 direct from Dorothy.

What can we say apart from these limited-edition posters are both objects of rare typographic beauty, and your wall space thoroughly deserves them. We suggest you head over to www.wearedorothy.com pronto before they sell out.

For the record, these beauties are two-colour screen print, on 120gsm KeayKolour Virgin Pulp Snow White uncoated paper. The dimensions are H80 x W60cm, and there’s a discreet A-Z key running down the right-hand side of each poster.
